Kingsholme

This home was a collaboration with Keith’s father, multi-award winning building designer Chris Vandyke for the design and Keith for the build.

The home features 5 interlinking single and double story pavilions to take in the views of the high position overlooking Stradbroke Island in the distance.

All 5 pavillions incorporate handpitched hard wood roofing with exposed roof structure internally, a formed and pored helix stair with travertine treads and risers. Our favourite feature of this home is the cellar incorporated timber recycled from a 100 year old banana packing shed that was on the property. The aged wall treatments were achieved by engaging an artist who hand painted all imperfections into the undulating rendered walls.
